Send a deletion request
- Email privacy@getpostlume.com from the email address connected to your Postlume account.
- Use the subject Data deletion request and tell us whether you want to delete a specific item, a social connection, or the complete account.
- Include only the account email and enough detail to identify the data. Never send a password, access token, recovery code, identity document, or a copy of private images in the request.
Verification and timing
We may reply to verify account ownership before deleting data. We will respond within the period required by applicable law; under the GDPR, this is normally within one month and can be extended for a complex or numerous request when the law permits.
If we cannot fulfil part of a request, we will explain why and identify any available review or complaint route.
What account deletion covers
- Your Postlume profile and authentication link.
- Uploaded assets, identity kits, brand settings, documents, layers, prompts, and generated results associated with the account.
- Stored X or Instagram connection credentials and imported or published item records associated with those connections.
- Other personal service records unless they must be retained for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal claims, or another legal obligation.
Disconnect X, Instagram, or Google
You can also revoke Postlume directly from the connected-app settings in X, Instagram or Meta, and Google. Revocation prevents future access through that authorization. It does not delete content already posted to the provider or automatically close your Postlume account.
A Postlume deletion request does not control copies held independently by a third-party platform. Use that platform's deletion controls for posts, messages, account information, or other data it controls.
Limited retention after deletion
Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted backups or security logs until those systems cycle, and some transaction or dispute records may be retained when law requires it. We do not use retained copies for new creative work or marketing.
